Social Media Competition in collaboration with Cannondale Bicycles (the Competition)

Terms and Conditions

  1. The prize is for 1 entrant to win a copy of Cannondale’s 50th Anniversary Book (the Prize). The Prize may be altered or varied at the Promoters’ sole discretion.
  2. The Competition Promoter is TRI Yeovil UK Limited whose registered office is at Unit A Brook Park East, Shirebrook, NG20 8RY (the Promoter).
  3. The Competition will run from 9:00 GMT on Friday 15 October 2021 until 23:59 GMT on Sunday 31 October 2021 (the Competition Period).
  4. To enter the Competition, entrants must:

    • follow (or already be following) TRI UK (@triuk) on Instagram;
    • like and share the competition post;
    • submit your entry within the Competition Period to be valid;
    • enter using own personal active Instagram account (corporate accounts are excluded from participating in this Competition);
    • only submit one entry per person;
    • be resident in the United Kingdom; and
    • for entrants aged 16 or under, you must have the consent of your parent/guardian prior to submitting your entry.

  5. Entrants must hold a valid UK postal address. Failure to provide a valid postal address will void the entry.
  6. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this Competition.
  7. You may only submit one entry to this Competition. No third party or automated entries are permitted and any entrant impersonating another account will be disqualified.
  8. The Promoter is to host the point of entry for the Prize on its Instagram page, determine the validity of entries for the Prize, choose the winner of the Prize and contact the winner.
  9. The Promoter will:

    • Choose the winner at random, from all valid entries received, and verified by the Promoter and its agents.
    • Contact the winner within 28 days of the end of the Competition Period. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for emails and/or messages that are misdirected, lost, delayed, damaged or otherwise corrupted.
    • Once a winner has provided notification to the Promoter in accordance with paragraph 10 below, then the Promoter will pass on the name, contact details (including email address) and any other information provided by the winner as part of the verification process to Cannondale for the purpose of supplying the Prize.

  10. The winner must contact the Promoter within 48 hours of notification to confirm they accept the Prize and these terms and conditions.
  11. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not provide confirmation as set out above, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to decide whether to select a replacement winner or not.
  12. By entering this Competition, each entrant agrees to the use of his/her name, county and image (including any avatar or profile picture) being used to promote the Competition in any publicity material being used should they win the Prize. Any personal data of the winner or any other entrants collected by TRI UK will be used solely in accordance with its privacy policy.
  13. Cannondale will:

    • be responsible for arranging and liaising with the winner to supply the Prize (including covering the postage costs);
    • be responsible for the operation of and all matters and concerns relating to the Prize, and responding to and dealing with any queries the winner has about the Prize and receiving the Prize.

  14. Any personal data of the winner collected by Cannondale shall be used in accordance with its Privacy Policy which can be found on its website.
  15. The decision made by the Promoter as to those able to take part and selection of a winner is final.
  16. No correspondence relating to the Competition will be entered into.
  17. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for entries not received for whatever reason.
  18. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for entries that are misdirected, lost, delayed, damaged or corrupted due to any computer malfunction, virus, bug, delay or other reason whatsoever.
  19. The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate Prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this Competition.
  20. By entering this Competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  21. The Competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
  22. The Prize is non-transferable and may not be sold, offered for sale, coupled or bundled with any other product or service or used for any commercial or promotional purposes.
  23. Employees and agents of the Promoter and their Group companies are not eligible to participate in this Competition, nor are their relatives or members of their families or households.
  24. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions and/or cancel the Competition by giving notice on this webpage or the Promoter’s Instagram page at their sole discretion.
  25. The Promoter accepts no liability for cancellation of the Competition.
  26. No cash or alternative Prize or compensation will be offered in the case of cancellation of the Competition.
  27. This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram. You are providing your information to the Promoter. By participating in this promotion, you agree to a complete release of Instagram from any claims in connection with this Competition.
  28. To the maximum extent permitted by law the Promoter and their Group companies shall not be liable for any claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for damages or losses to persons or property which may be sustained in connection with receipt, ownership and/or use of the Prize.

  2. The Promoter is Tri Yeovil UK Limited T/A Tri UK whose registered office is at Unit A Brook Park East, Shirebrook, NG20 8RY (the Promoter).
  3. The Competition will run from 10:00 GMT on Friday 23 July 2021 until 23:59 GMT on Sunday 8 August 2021 (the Competition Period).
  4. To enter the Competition, you must:
    • follow (or already be following) Tri UK (@triuk) and Hoy Bikes Official (@hoybikes) on Instagram;
    • like the competition post and tag a friend in the comments section;
    • ensure that the friend/s you have tagged are also following Tri UK (@triuk) and Hoy Bikes Official (@hoybikes) on Instagram;
    • submit your entry within the Competition Period to be valid;
    • enter using your own personal active Instagram account (corporate accounts are excluded from participating in this Competition);
    • be resident in the United Kingdom; and
    • for entrants aged 16 or under, you must have the consent of your parent/guardian prior to submitting your entry.

  6. Two winners will be chosen by an independent person at random, from all valid entries received, and verified by the Promoter and its agents.
  7. The Winners will be contacted within 28 days of the end of the Competition Period. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for emails and/or messages that are misdirected, lost, delayed, damaged or otherwise corrupted.
  8. The Promoter will confirm the details of how the prize will be delivered to the Winners.
  9. The Winners must contact the Promoter within 7 working days of notification to confirm:
    • they accept the Prize and these terms and conditions; and
    • if aged 16 or under, that they have the consent of their Parent/Guardian (the

      Promoter may ask for copies of documentation to evidence this).

  10. If the Winners cannot be contacted or does not provide confirmation as set out above, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to decide whether to select a replacement winner or not.
  11. By entering this Competition, each entrant agrees to the use of his/her name, county and image (including any avatar or profile picture) being used to promote the Competition in any publicity material, including on the Promoter’s website and social networking platforms, being used should they win the Prize. Any personal data of the winner or any other entrants collected by the Promoter will be used solely in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy.
  12. The Promoter will bear the full cost of postage of the Prize to an address in the United Kingdom (excluding the Shetland Isles, Outer Hebrides, Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Isle of Scilly and Northern Ireland).
  13. The decision made by the Promoter as to those able to take part and selection of a Winners is final.
