About My Prudential RideLondon
While Prudential RideLondon can’t go ahead as planned this year, a virtual event will keep the wheels moving and celebrate cycling over the weekend of 15 and 16 August: My Prudential RideLondon. Its aim is to inspire and engage the UK population to get on their bikes, scooters, skateboards, trikes, tandems, penny farthings, unicycles – in fact any form of self-propelled wheels! – to raise much-needed funds charity.
The Covid-19 pandemic has had a devastating impact on charities, with the UK charity sector facing an estimated £10 billion shortfall in funding. It’s also meant that many mass participation events across the country, like Prudential RideLondon, have been cancelled. Last year, riders raised an amazing £11.5 million for thousands of charities at the event.
